Pain Resistant Traceurs???

Many people unskilled with the ways of parkour see traceurs do big flips and rolls on concrete, or cut up their hands, or bash their shins, or bruise...you get my point.
They say "doesn't that hurt?" If this is asked with the combination of rolls on concrete, the answer is no because of technique, which they normally don't realize. but don't get me wrong, you can roll wrong on concrete. It hurts. Trust me. Just remember your technique.

With shin bashings and other injuries...yes it does hurt, but not as much as they think. You can probably get up and go for the jump again. This is because of tolerance over time.
The human body becomes tolerant over time. Because cuts and bruises are re-occurring injuries in parkour, over time they hurt less and less. You'll eventually not notice the smaller things. Things that would make the average person want to stop wouldn't make you bat an eye. To an extent I guess....(this is all kinda a theory I had, but it makes sense, right?)
